Learn to manage network on VMware ESXi 6.7

On VMware ESXi 6.7, you can create virtual networks using standard virtual switches (vSS), but also using port groups.
Creating multiple standard virtual switches (vSS) allows you to separate virtual networks, but also to connect some virtual machines to one physical network and other virtual machines to another physical network.

In this 4th course on VMware ESXi 6.7, you will learn:

• the basics of network management on VMware ESXi to quickly learn about the different network components available on this hypervisor.
• create new VMkernel interfaces for host network traffic.
• separate different types of network streams using TCP/IP stacks available since vSphere 6.0.
• limit outgoing network bandwidth (on a vSS virtual switch).
• to use Jumbo frames between different VMware ESXi hypervisors and/or between several virtual machines running on these hypervisors.
• to use an USB network card for the VMware ESXi network (useful in the case of a lab).
