Citrix XenServer

Citrix XenServer is a hypervisor (virtualization server) created by Citrix which is optimized for the virtualization of applications (via XenApp), desktops (via XenDesktop) and servers.

Thanks to Citrix XenServer, you can also take advantage of exclusive features :

• support for the 3 main graphics card (GPU) manufacturers : AMD MxGPU, NVIDIA Virtual GPU and Intel GVT-g.
  This allows you to provide better graphics performance to your users through virtualization of graphics cards (vGPU), including NVIDIA GRID
• you benefit from a secure virtual infrastructure which is protected against attacks and the use of zero-day security vulnerabilities through introspection of the hypervisor.

Using Citrix XenServer also allows you to benefit from native integration with other Citrix technologies, such as :

• Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop : for publishing virtual applications and/or desktops from virtual machines running on a Citrix XenServer server
• Citrix PVS : to provide a lot of desktops from a master image (also called "gold image") rather than simple copies as is the case with XenDesktop by default (with the MCS feature)
• Citrix Director : for troubleshooting virtual machines running on a Citrix server
