View the LDAP structure of your Active Directory on Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2

As you may know, an Active Directory is a LDAP. This means that each object can be accessed through the LDAP protocol.
However, when you use the program "Active Directory Users and Computers", you don't see the LDAP path of each object.

To know them, just use the program "ADSI Edit".
For that, go to the home screen of Windows Server 2012 and click "ADSI Edit".

Then, go to : Options -> Connection.

Leave the default values if you are on your Active Directory server, then click OK.

In this program, you will find the same structure as in the "Active Directory Users and Computers" program, but you will have the LDAP path of each object of your Active Directory.
This is very useful when you need the LDAP path of a user or any other LDAP object.

For example, if we go in "CN=Users" and we do a right click "Properties" on the Administrator account, we find its LDAP path "CN=Users,DC=informatiweb,DC=lan" on line "distinguishedName".
