Postfix is the most known mail server in the Linux world, but its complexity also makes it complicated to configure at first time.

With Postfix, you can create your own mail server with a MySQL users database (postfix-mysql), or a LDAP database (postfix-ldap) ...

Even if Postfix looks interesting at first time, but be aware that its configuration will not be easy.
